Four Reasons Why You Should Invest In A Professional Hairdryer

Over the course of a woman’s lifetime, she’ll spend countless hours drying and styling her hair. To make these hours less of a chore (and have a bit of fun), we created the Elite Pro Turbo|Lite. No, this isn’t your $30 drugstore hair dryer, it is an investment in yourself and your happiness – nobody wants to deal with a slow, fry-your-hair blow dryer at 6 AM, let’s be real! And for $129.99(gasp), we are going to offer you a different kind of drying experience.

Luxurious Experience
Our AC Motor Compressor enables more airflow with less power drain! Most women start and stop their dryer, set the dryer down, readjust their round brush, then pick the dryer up again.

Healthy Hair by Calvaniece Mason Hair Brands
All beautiful hairstyles start with healthy hair. Calvaniece Mason Hair Brands approaches drying hair differently, by slowing down the air velocity (how fast the air moves) and increasing the volume (how much air is pushed through the dryer) drying hair faster. We did a survey just to ensure we were heading in the right direction as we developed this dryer and 97% of women agree that the Elite Pro Turbo|Lite is powerful but gentle on their hair, and 91% of women agree that dries their hair faster than their regular dryer.*

Smooth and Sleek Hair
We added a powerful built-in ion generator with ceramic technology, which enhances the air with negative ions and smooths the hair cuticle. When hair cuticles are smooth, the result is soft, shiny hair every time (who doesn’t love that?!). A slower air velocity prevents hair from being aggressively blown around and causing frizz, 96% of women agree that the Elite Pro Turbo|Lite left their hair looking shiny.*

Customized Drying Experience
With 3 heat settings and two fan speeds, you can make your drying experience your own. Turn the Volume Booster on for bigger, volumized hair, and turn it off, to smooth the hair cuticle for more polished, sleek strands. Pick the settings that match your mood – are you feeling sleek and sophisticated or playful and bouncy? By the way, the Elite Pro Turbo|Lite also comes with two concentrators, a wide concentrator for quick drying and a narrow, styling concentrator.

If you don’t currently own the Elite Pro Turbo|Lite and have been waiting to purchase we have something in store for you! Order today online for the discounted price of $89.99 and enjoy free shipping!

3 Protective Hairstyles

Most women for centuries have been obsessed with growing long hair and many women just want strong healthy hair. For African American women, it can be a little harder to retain growth. Our hair can easily get dry causing breakage. Protective hairstyles provide protection, and with the right amount of moisture, can stimulate hair growth. Here are 3 hairstyles that have kept my hair protected and has helped me retain hair growth.

1. Box Braids

Box braids isn't just a trendy hairstyle but it's also a protective style too. Box braids are usually braided with some type of hair weave which allows you limited access to your own hair. This can be very beneficial for people who are constantly experimenting with their hair and want to give it a break. My experience with box braids were awesome. They are extremely versatile, being that they are individual braids, and allows you to rock pretty much any kind of style you want from a high ponytail to a French braid.

2. Twist Outs/Braid Outs

Twist and braid outs are usually the first thing that ladies who go natural want to experience. However, most twist outs can be achieved with or without natural hair. I was very optimistic about twist and braid outs when I first went natural and I still am. This hairstyle is an alternative to putting heat on your hair and can last for weeks. My favorite twist/braid out hairstyle is the Bantu knots. Bantu knots are cute when you have them twisted up or when you untwist them. The actual Bantu knots were a trendy hairstyle back in the 90s and are slowly making a comeback.

3. Wigs

Wigs have been prevalent for centuries and are nothing new. However, wigs have become a huge staple in the African American hair community. Wigs, similarly to box braids, help to limit access to your natural hair. They allow you to achieve any hair style and hair color without excessive manipulation to your actaul hair. You can easily take your wig off whenever you want, unlike sew-ins. You also don't have to worry about a needle going through your hair which can cause damage.
